Environments where we get to work on things alongside experts seem to be diminishing. Are you familiar with Montessori? Their schools feature classes with multiple age groups. This means younger kids can learn from their older peers and have the option to learn at a faster pace if it suits them in stead of getting stuck at the level of the slower learners in their age group. Makes me wonder if there are ways we can integrate this type of learning into adult life.
